    Our selection of truley wild caught cichlids from Lake Tanganyika are held for a minimum of ten days post arrival.  This assures you healthy stable fish. We have imports from Zambia, Tanzania and Congo collection points arriving often.

    Our farm raised malawi fish are guaranteed to be healthy and vibrant specimens.  Color and personality are why Malawi fsh have remained a mainstay in our hobby.  We typically can offer all of our Malawi fish in small, medium and large sizes.  We also suggest always purchasing extra females when buying Malawi fishes.  We will usually be able to accommodate requests for trios and even one male to three female ratios.

    Our tank and or vat raised tanganyikans are usually F-1, first generation from wild stock reared on live baby brine and high quality foods that promote growth and vitality.  All of these fishes are a minimum of 1.0" and larger in most cases.  Tanganiyikan Shell FIsh are the exception and may be slightly smaller.

  • Cyprichromis Mbita has a nice yellow chest and throat area as well as yellow tones in it's finnage.  Growing to about 4.0 inches this schooling cichlid is best kept in groups five or more.
